Spinning Bike Allow For Convenient And Intense Exercise

by Angela Andrews on February 8, 2010

Exercise is a vital component to any healthy life, but time constraints have made difficult for a majority of people to fit in the type of cardio that can give the results wanted in the shortest amount of time possible. Spinning bikes fit in to the more-bang-for-your-buck mentality with its high intensity, low impact exercise resulting in deftly defined lean muscle.

Why spend hours at the gym doing cardio and weights when you can combine both by engaging your muscles in a way that will sculpt you and increase your endurance every time you ride?

The results of using a spin bike will make themselves known in a relatively short amount of time, usually within 2-3 weeks! Within that short amount of time, less than a month, your cardio endurance will increase along with your energy level and overall strength. The amount of weight you lose is up to you and how much you use the bike, but in conjunction with healthy eating habits permanent weight loss is usually defined between one to two pounds a week.

Spinning offers a good exercise alternative for people who are overweight and suffer from joint pain. Issues with joints happen with the placement of too much downward force onto the knees, which is something often seen in runners. Being in a seated position allows the exerciser to stop force from impacting the joints making spinning a viable alternative.

Balancing during times of a standing pedal engages the core and works to whittle down the abdominals while toning the glutes. No doubt about it, spinning for women especially, is an exercise god send designed to tone the hips, thighs, and butts which are the trifecta of women’s problem areas.
