Is there consumer laws on treadmills? I bought one two years ago from sears and they dont have parts.?

I bought a RCT7.6 Horizon Fitness treadmill thats two years old. The LCD is cracked and needs to be replaced. Sears and Horizon don’t carry the part anymore because the model is discontinued. Is there a law that protects me on this?

No, there’s not. Neither the company or seller are required to carry any sort of spare parts for the machine. ALL that is required is that they either fix or replace the machine during the warranty period – which I’m guessing has long since expired.

No, unforunately…unless you have some kind of lifetime warranty…then that’s usually with the manufacturer of the treadmill and you have to go through them.
